My body, my earth, my activism, standing 2020-2

Continuing the story from my first entry about my passion for how I behave as one with elements of my natural environment, I decided to photograph myself standing as I interacted with long branch trimmings hanging from the ceiling of the studio.

The trimmings are painted gold because I wanted to seal them. They were removed from their normal state and could not continue to thrive.

Gold also signifies regality. And the trees and large bushes from which all the trimmings came are sacred.

As long as I am alive, I want to honor the earth of which I am a minor part.

The following photographs further demonstrate my intentions.

The sequence happened in real-time. If you click on the first image, you can enlarge it and thereby create a slide show.
