These drawings, as well as the Black and White Branches, were done in response to the photographs from and the experience of my walks on trails and in the woods. My desire deviated from copying the photos. Rather I expressed the internal conversation I was having with nature. The drawings demonstrate the design that is inherent in the abstract formations of lines I usually make, many of which are shown on this website.
