The first time my work was exhibited at the CrossMackenzie Gallery was in 2012 when the gallery was located on R Street in the DuPont Circle neighborhood.

The drawing introducing this post was hung at the back of the long hallway-like space. The drawing invited the viewer to come to it. No one could absorb it all at once. It had taken me weeks to do in my old studio in Worthington, MA.

After this show, my enthusiasm for my work grew within me and for the next several years, I was exceedingly productive. My whole life was really good and moving in a positive direction both personally and in my work.

Nothing lasts forever, and although I am associated with my gallery, the entire demographic has changed. I am in a new place in a new time.
